If you decide to come here, you’ll want to try out their ATV track. The track takes you through dirt roads and steep slopes along the mountain. At the same time you’ll be able to enjoy the scenery and beauty of the natural forest. On the ride, will you be able to visit the Bumblebee Bat; the smallest species of bat in the world. Kanchanaburi is the only province in Thailand to see these tiny animals. Another rare forest dweller you may be able to see during the rainy season is the Sirikit Crab named after H.M. Queen Sirikit. This tri-colored crustacean eats leaves! For your safety, you are accompanied by at least two staff members. The first will guide you and the second will be the last ATV to help you should you have problems.
The activity you can’t miss out on is the Iyara Flying course. This activity puts you on top of trees and you’ll go zipping through the forest. This zip-lining activity is certainly the most exhilarating. All the equipment used for zip-lining is professional grade from France. The resort offers three packages for the activity. The packages are divided by the number of stations you want to experience. The full course is a total of 13 stations for only 800 Baht. The other two packages are six stations and four stations (600 Baht and 400 Baht).
For some aqua adventure, grab a partner and paddle, and hop onto one of the kayaks. Cruise your way along the stream that originates from Burma and flows into Thailand. You’ll be taken through plenty of rocks, and beautiful views of nature along the water. If these activities aren’t enough for you, you can go camping as well. During certain seasons, you can camp out and watch elephants in the wild from a tree house.
At the end of the day, you’ll definitely be hungry so make your way to Ruen Rattanaporn; the resort’s restaurant. Located along the stream for views, the restaurant has a good selection of Thai food for you to choose from. Their recommended dishes include Tom Yum Gai Baan (Chicken Tom Yum), Namprik Ong (Chill paste), Pad Pak Kood (Fried vegetables), and many more.
