The aquarium has altogether 7 zones; each zone has a certain theme. The first zone is ‘Weird and Wonderful’. Here you will get to see the weirdest and most bizarre sea creatures. Some may even spook you. Inside the second zone, ‘Deep Reef’, you will find an 8-meter high coral tank. Take a look at the colorful sea life that surrounds coral reefs. Zone 3 is the ‘Living Ocean’. Watch how predator and prey live together in this fish tank. The ‘Rainforest’ zone is a collection of fresh water fish. Zone 5 is the ‘Rockyshore’. Learn the struggles for survival as animals such as penguins adapt to intense land and sea conditions. The sixth zone is the ‘Open Ocean’. Surround yourself in the aquarium’s massive 270 degree tunnel and be amazed by the fish you’ll see. Seventh and final zone is ‘Sea Jellies’. Learn more about the simple yet mysterious lives of jellyfish.

Along the way, you’ll come across many feeding shows. Feeding shows include the Eagle Ray, Penguin, fresh water fish, Shark, Otter, and Water Rat. In addition, you’ll also get to view the ‘Divers Communication’ show as well as the ‘Animal Contact’. All shows take place twice a day so be sure to check out the show times on their website beforehand.

    • Strong point:
    • The aquarium has a great collection of bizarre and amazing sea animals. There are plenty of shows and activities to keep visitors engaged. The aquarium uses plenty of hi-tech equipment to deliver a fun and educational experience.
    • Weak point:
    • There are a lot of people who come to the aquarium. The fresh water fish and non-oceanic animal exhibits are just as big as the ocean animal exhibits.
    • Conclusion:
    • Siam Ocean World truly is a massive aquarium with hundreds of marine animals on display in their artificial habitat. Not only will you get to be up close and personal with these sea creatures, you’ll also get to learn many interesting facts about various animals, and you can participate in the numerous activities that will surely make you feel alive.
